ECU’s School of Arts and Humanities invites you to join our Short Courses for Credit Program, now offering Creative Writing at our South West Bunbury Campus. This FREE course is designed to introduce year 11 and 12 students to university life, offer an engaging, hands-on experience and give them a head start at university.
Students who are keen to pursue a qualification in the arts with an existing interest in creative writing will engage with the art and craft of contemporary fiction writing, and complete a short story to a professional standard. They will also gain a deeper understanding of the way university works, helping them to overcome any anxiety they might have about higher education. Read more about what this course will offer by visiting our website.
Importantly, students who pass the requirements of this course will receive Advanced Standing (credit) for a first year unit once gaining successful admission to an applicable ECU undergraduate course. This means students will save time and money before even commencing their university studies at ECU.
Places are limited so students are advised to get their registrations in quickly!
